The Brother MFC-8820DN laser printer is suitable for the small or medium office environment. It has fast printing speeds and well-designed multifunction features, and multiple models to meet different needs. However, Its bulky frame might be too large for tight spaces.

The Brother MFC-8820DN is a multifunction device that can print, scan, copy, and fax. In addition to the standard faxing feature, it also supports PC faxing, where users can send a fax directly from a program on their computer. The Brother MFC-8820DN has paper capacity of 300 sheets, divided among a 250-sheet for the standard tray and a 50-sheet for the multipurpose tray.

Two additional models are available for this model. The MFC-8820DND adds automatically duplexing, or double-sided printing, which opens up more printing possibilities for users. The MFC-8820DNDN adds both duplexing and built-in ethernet networking. This allows the printer to be easily connected and shared across a network of multiple computers.

Brother MFC-8820DN toner cartridges have a capacity of 3,300 pages. A high-yield laser toner cartridge is also available with a capacity of 6,500 pages. The printer toner cartridge is a bit tricky to remove and replace, but not impossible. The use of compatible cartridges does not void the printer warranty.

Print and copy quality is excellent for Brother MFC-8820DN model. Printed text is very sharp and detailed, with readable text even at small font sizes.
