Canon ImageClass MF4150 Printer Review:
The Canon ImageClass MF4150 is a
multifunction designed for home or small office environments. It offers good
speeds, great print quality, and even duplexing in a compact, affordable
multifunction machine. What it doesn't offer though is color capabilities.
The Canon ImageClass MF4150 measures
17.7 inches X 15.4 inches X 16.8 inches and weighs around 28 pounds, allowing
it to fit into some relatively small spaces. The front paper tray adds about 2
inches to the depth when extended. The unit has both a flatbed scanner and an
automatic document feeder, which can hold up to 35 pages for automatic
scanning. The ImageClass MF4150 also has automatic duplexing built in, enabling
the two-sided printing capability. It also uses only one toner with a page
yield of 2,000 pages at 5% coverage. The use of compatible cartridges does not
void the printer warranty.
The Canon ImageClass MF4150 can
print, scan, copy, and fax. Copying and faxing can be done standalone without
the need for a computer connection. Scans can be done at a 9600 dpi enhanced
resolution, resulting in extremely clear scans.
The Canon ImageClass MF4150 can
print at a speedy 21 pages per minute, which is very impressive considering its
affordable price. Print quality is very good. Text is clear and sharp, though
graphics quality is only about average for a laser printer.
