HP LaserJet 9050 Printer Review: The HP LaserJet 9050 printer is
designed for the high-volume office environment. The HP LaserJet 9050 printer does
not have networking support built in as a standard feature. The 9050N model has
networking built-in, and the 9050DN model has both networking and duplexing functions
included.
The HP LaserJet 9050 printer comes
with initial paper capacity of 1,000 sheets. Users can expand the capacity to a
maximum of 3,000 sheets if needed. These additional trays do add considerable
bulk to an already large machine, but this will likely not be a problem in
large office environments.
A 533 MHz processor is built in for the HP
LaserJet 9050 printer. There is also a standard 128 MB of RAM and can be expanded
to a maximum of 512 MB for better performance.
There are two toner cartridges for the HP
LaserJet 9050 printer. Both the toner and the MICR toner can print up to 30,000 pages at 5% coverage. Laser toner cartridges are
easy to replace, and the unit has a toner save mode to help get more value from
each printer ink toner cartridge. Print speed is a blazing fast 50 pages per
minute, which will keep a busy office humming right along. Text quality is very
sharp and detailed, and graphics are above average.
