designed for home and small office users. The HP LaserJet P3005D printer measures
12.2 inches X 16.7 inches X 16.1 inches (HWD) and weighs about 36 pounds. The
HP P3005 comes in various configurations: N models, such as the P3005N and
P3005DN, are equipped with ethernet port built in for connecting directly to a
network for sharing to multiple computers. D models, such as the P3005D and
P3005DN, are equipped with duplexing for two-sided printing. The P3005X
combines all of these features with additional paper capacity.
The HP LaserJet P3005D printer comes
with a backlit LCD and simple setup instructions. Paper capacity for the HP
LaserJet P3005D printer is 500 sheets in the main drawer and 100 sheets in the
multipurpose tray.
There are two toner models for
the HP LaserJet P3005D printer – stand yield Q7551A and high yield Q7551X. The
Q7551A can print up to 6,500 pages at 5% coverage. The Q7551X can print up to
13,000 pages at 5% coverage. Users can seek for high quality higher yield
re-manufactured cartridges in order to save on printing expenses. In fact, a
well made compatible toner should work as well as name brand counterparts. In
addition, the use of compatible cartridges does not void the printer warranty.

P3005D printer is about 23 pages per minute. Print quality is excellent,
producing sharp text and average graphics.
